I would assume that it would opportunistically try to run the borrow checker, and if it fails on the access of a specific field, turn that access into an Arc/Rc everywhere, leaving any other access as references. This leaves you with i

Adding scattered bike lanes in a haphazard way is insufficient. You need a network of physically separated bike lanes that connects an entire city. Any gap in the network makes it so the bike lanes might as well not exist, if you go fro

FWIW, if I had to avoid the `Result` return type and produce the `-1` sentinel, I would write fn add(str1: &str, str2: &str) -> i8 { let (Ok(a), Ok(b)) = (str1.parse::<i8>(), str2.parse::<i8>()) else {

I wonder if it could be a new manifestation of the long living problem of older resources appearing linked from random blogs or surfaced in web searches. I haven't seen that problem in a while, but could be one explanation for that.

I believe it is a case of "yes, and". A significant benefit of Rail transport is when you can go to the train station from your home by public transport, and when you arrive to your destination city in a place where you can take p

I.dont think so, and I'm convinced that this could be done automatically as part of rustc, with the negative side effect of small changes that affect the splitting behaviour causing wild compilation time changes that are hard to debug.
