At the time people were talking about restricting COVID visitors, we really didn't know if we were dealing with something most similar to a seasonal cold, a serious flu, or the Spanish flu. > They are generally isolated and/or

VAERS is a super early signal self-reported database, why on earth would anyone link to it for public consumption? Should they also link to reddit.com/r/hypochondriac? VAERS should exist and researcher should (and do) pay attentio

No, you really don't need to "blindly trust" the entities doing the studies. I work in clinical trials. I know how they work. You do not.

It is absolutely good enough lol. We have effective statistical certainty in the results. Tell me: how do you know the food you eat is safe? How about the water? The air? Do you take any other medicines? All of those are less well-understoo

Of course it's relevant! A country that siphons up data and then arrests you for saying mean things about Dear Leader is a lot, a lot worse than a country that siphons up data and then basically can't do anything with it. I don&

As demonstrated, the people who struggle with this just don't actually have any actual curiosity. "Par for the course" indeed! Here's a step by step guide for you: 1. Google "Pfizer covid vaccine studies CDC" 2

No, not really. The correct claim is "all evidence is imperfect." But an FDA approved, Phase 3, double-blinded, placebo-controlled randomized trial is the strongest form of evidence that we have for anything at all.

But the trolley problem doesn't make sense here. The statistically correct thing to do, in nearly all cases for nearly all people, both for themselves and for their community (separately!), was to get vaccinated.

You're aware that most drugs are approved without 5-year data, correct? Why did you draw the line there? Why not wait for 10-year data? What about 20- or 50- or 100-year data? Do we need 75-year data for Viagra too? 30-year data for as
