Yup did the same. I wont browse sites that have these idiotic scroll takeovers, it's incredibly poor for UX.

That depends on the GPU, I'm not talking mid-high end (e.g RTX level), just your average 'basic' GPU.

A bit of advice...stop. Blatent self promotion of commercial products is a hard no here. We dont want it, and its against the rules. Delete this, and the other posts before they get deleted for you along with account closure.

It'd be interesting to see what the cost and power equivilence would be compared to a higher end method. I.e the time, cost (including all hardware required) and power taken to generate 100 images using 100 individual Pi Zero 2's

They're talking about an e-ink being capable of that level of performance. You'd expect ghosting and noticable artifacts on the screen. E-ink is super slow.

Maybe I'm just getting old but every time I see yet another shiny new thing that uses Javascript I just eyeroll massively. I can't fathom how frontend devs are ok with the pure madness that goes on in their sector. Give me a plane

Sorely needed. It is funny how so many of the sites with GDPR notices and policies explaining how they don't share data, don't have scripts from places like Google don't realise that they're still handing over that data

Useful but slightly odd to have a call for donations along with zero ability to see who runs it, how to contact them, etc.

Wheres the policy saying you cant drink, cant eat bread, cant eat meat, cant smoke? A study being published saying "this this isn't great for you" is not at all remotely communism.

If you're relying on drinking to live a fulfilling life something is very, very wrong. Your life shouldn't be dictated by drinking or not drinking.

I've just spent the last two days building out a system based on an API created by our clients internal dev team, only to have both the project manager and client throw in a massive curveball they knew about but neglected to mention -

Yeah I meant in addition to their own assets, hence the revenue stream. A standard setup like Unity has for their asset store. Using unity as the example there are some crummy assets, but there's also some incredibly popular and well m

Not only get it out but actively promote it as an opensource project instead of proprietary and make revenue through an asset store. Theres so few games that use source that theres no way its commercially viable on its own.

If there's 700 active developers on Firefox then they sure as hell must be having a great time "working" remotely. The development pace of Firefox is atrocious.

Thanks for sharing this. I've tried to get on with Grocy but it's UI really put me off, it felt very unintuitive, cluttered and a bit like an app that had long since outgrown the initial hacked together layout.
