Apple music still gets a bit of a bad rap, the first iteration of the desktop and mobile apps for it were god awful. And if you lived outside of the west coast of the US, buffering was a noticable issue as they rather stupidly centralised a

Add that annoying theo guy to that list. Cant stand these people, they confidently push out videos like they're experts, a week later it turns out whatever they were talking about was total crap and they've already abandoned it -

There's a chrome plugin called 'MirrorImage'[1] that basically rewrites all imgur links/embeds to use a proxy service, it seems to work pretty well to get around it. I dare say something similar also exists for Firefox [

I'd be interested to know what was going on with it during the public test as there were numerous reports of it improving considerably at tasks it was asked to do early on in the test compared to later in it.

Not sure covid was the sole driving force. A combination of MS taking over and deciding to move it to Azure, a massive increase in traffic due to ai usage (not that this should be an excuse for a platform that should be scaleable), and Gith

Githubs a great advert as to why you shouldn't use Azure. What an utter mess its become since they took over. Their argument that its scaling issues due to increased traffic just makes them and Azure look incompetent.

Because businesses dont want them blocked, that would be a very stupid thing for most of them to do given its becoming a vital traffic source now that people are using chatbots instead of google.

South Australia is a good example. In 2023–24, wind supplied 45.2% of South Australia’s electricity generation, rooftop solar supplied 18.3%, and large-scale solar another 10.7%. In other words, roughly 74% of the state’s electricity genera

What "world order" is this? One where cheap energy generation is seen as a good thing? Bizarre that anyone would be against a private company building solar or wind farms in this day and age. For a guy in the ai and cybersecurity

We're super flexible on name law in the UK. I could change my name right now and just use it, I dont need any formal approval or anything to do so. It only becomes a legal issue if you do it for legally questionable reasons.
