I completely agree. Except, unfortunately, there is no Android phone I can switch to. Apple gets most things right in terms of hardware. Switching to Galaxy S4 would be downgrading my experience because of ugly and bloated Touchwiz and a di

Well, theoretically anything can be done with Paint as well. For someone whose job requires image manipulation, Photoshop is probably well worth the money and is more valuable than their time. I do agree though, GIMP is underrated.

Yes. It's annoying. Asus has a 13-inch 1080p Windows 7 laptop and everything so tiny that it is basically unusable out of the box. Android does not have this problem since devs always use dp (density independent pixel) as units of measureme

The problem is, it is annoying to manually zoom in on every single website. It should be automatic.

You need minimum zoom, not minimum font size. Unfortunately Safari does not have that, which is one of the reasons I do not use it.

Can you buy Lightning to HDMI adapters off eBay for $5? Because I can buy MicroUSB (MHL) to HDMI adapters for $5.

>Ideology has trumped engineering, and as hackers, you shouldn't tolerate it. Exactly. It turned out Apple's Lightning is actually inferior to a standard MicroUSB + MHL.

This is weird. I use both Windows 7 and OSX everyday. Windows 7's window management is so much better that, it makes me realize how much time I lose managing windows on OSX. The only logical explanation I can come up is that you don't know

Maybe so. But I don't see a problem with that. OSX window management currently satisfies average users, but not power users. And since power users are exactly the kind of people who can do something about it, they are doing it.
