That’s a common fallacy. I suggest you make a plot of failure rate vs amount of components that can fail, any one of them failing leading to a total failure. You’ll be shocked by how quickly you get terrible numbers.

It’s on the wrong layer for that. MCP is akin to putting GraphQL over an old and crufty SOAP interface. There’s some “intelligence” in the GraphQL layer, but it doesn’t fix flaws in the lower layer such as side effects that shouldn’t be the

Pets and young children also give you unconditional love. If you’re mad at them, they think it’s their fault. If you need somebody to depend on you (the AI also does), then you have some soul searching to do. Ask yourself why an individual

Making a website is what made me interested in programming as a 10 year old during the dot com bubble. Even back then I realized very quickly that webdev is a cargo cult and I switched to C and assembly to learn how to program “real” progra

While I ask people whether they actually mean REST according to the paper or not, I am one of the people who refuse to just move on. The reason being that the mainstream use of the term doesn’t actually mean anything, it is not useful, and

They claim to protect from illegal content and unsafe communities, but those sound like desperate grasps at straws that are easily disproven. They also misrepresent the basic demands of the petition, as online only games are still allowed.

As a bachelor thesis I created a HoloLens 1 app that communicated with Rhino3D to place waypoints for a 5 axis robot arm to cut with a plasma cutter after calculating and previewing the robot arm movements and confirming. In my day job I oc

It’s a common theme in science fiction that an AI becomes something divine, because of the appeal to authority. The AI knows best. Who are you to question the AI? The AI wants the best for us. But all the fun is of course in that turning ou

This isn’t a memory leak though, is it? I think the general solution to avoid this kind of stuff is providing your own memory allocation functions to libraries (don’t know if this library supports that). That way one can limit, track and is

A lot of games don’t let you leave such interactions anymore. LAN is removed, split screen is removed, online matchmaking with random team mates and opponents is forced upon you. You will only see the people you played with one time.
