    I'm on a 9'7 right now and use Working Copy and Kodek to write and Overleaf to "test" the LaTeX code and see if it will produce the .pdf I need. For full time use it might be a bit harder, but it's not impossible.

    Only if I need to tweak a .bib file, but I use Zotero with BetterBibTex ( https://retorque.re/zotero-better-bibtex/ ) and it generates a .bib file of my entire database.

    I took a course on History of Science and I was pretty shocked to learn that Watson, Crick and Wilkins were deeply impacted by this book. That type of cross pollination between disciplines and generations of scientists is fascinating.
