Netflix "gets it" very well, they have to tiptoe between satisfying their content providers with plausible-enough looking action and at the same time trying to not alienate their end-users. They probably know the exact numbers of

This as an argument is completely crazy and similarly absolutist. Having access to proper crypto at all, as an option, does not mean everything will inevitably be encrypted and not controlled for. Companies will still have the power to se

I believe the premise is that those rich people will pay much more in taxes than their cut of the UBI pool. I guess if you mean rich people who don't work / pay taxes, but I don't think that's an actual issue (since the

The threat of a scorched earth policy needs to be strong enough for governments to either not consider these types of actions or suffer the consequences. I can understand it not being practical for the people involved though, and I sympathi

I believe most of these diets promote low carb, high fat, moderate protein. In general consuming more protein than needed for cellular maintenance does little good and gets converted to energy through additional steps; since it's easie

Most of the financial reasons are political. NIMBYism makes nuclear in general very expensive, even though coal blatantly kills more than even existing nuclear tech, not to mention potential next gen reactors. In case of breeders, the 2nd a

That's because you're burying usable fuel, breeder reactors eliminate the waste problem for all practical purposes, the reason they're not being built has been entirely political. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki

How can you ask a question like this? Define "so strong" in this context? It's similar to asking "do you need so free speech". We're not talking about anything special here beyond a standard expectation of reas

The sibling comment about websites was spot on. Another good example is the real-estate rental market. Many places lack furnishing and lose lots of business over similar competitors, and I mean the types of basics a months rent would cover.
