The wasm shaper is an experimental feature that is not enabled in any browser at the moment.

It would not be of much use as no browser enables this experimental feature. So unless you somehow build a wasm build of Harfbuzz with the feature enabled and embed it on there nothing will happen.

I could not get it to work when I looked into it last, for Gimp I actually installed it globally, I think neither Chrome or Firefox uses the system Harfbuzz. Going by the dependants of Harfbuzz on Arch [0] it might be possible that it works

Game of life is certainly possible someone saw my Bad Apple font and not only reproduced it, but also made a Maze [0] So the biggest issue is that you need something that uses harfbuzz where you can recompile and add a flag. If you look in

I did kinda the opposite and instead of making a font out of tetris I made a font play Tetris. I did it with the Harfbuzz shaper which now have experimental support for embedding WebAssembly programs to shape fonts. Talk where I show it off
