I used wasm because bad apple was the first thing I thought of when I saw the update that added wasm. I have thought about doing something where wasm fits better, but I have not gotten around to that yet.

I only had to enable it in hafbuzz as gimp uses dynamic linking. So I luckily did not have to build it as well

I ran FreeBSD on my nvidia laptop for around a year some time ago and the display drivers seems to work, as long as it was only as a display driver. It was an issue if you wanted vulkan, but that was recently added to the driver. Though if

A better source for the actual language would be this PDF file [0] or the Wikipedia page [1]. It is a kind of strict flowchart language that only allows you to do it in one way, which may be bad for some, but it helps how fast you can grok
