Any address in the EU (or Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Lichtenstein) works as well.

Some countries require you to either be a citizen or have a business there, yes. But it’s definitely not the case for all ccTLDs. some ccTLDs in the EU require you to be a citizen in any EU country. (So .fr or .eu for example) Examples of t

Definitively possible. It’s what I do with my dumb washing machine. Just have your home automation tool of choice notify you if power draw moves below 5w or something.

I’ve always been told that ssh is not supposed to work non-interactively. Which is the whole reason for sshpass, to work non-interactively. Ie. Broken by design.

It seems we have very differing definitions of "barely". Apple has more than double the market share that Samsung does. The EU considers any party that has more than 40% of market share to be in a dominant market position. This is

The obvious one is Beat Saber, but in general there’s simply less app support for pico compared to Quest. There’s still stuff, so for now I’m perfectly happy with it. Just have a look at the sidequest store for a direct comparison between s

This is the reason why I went with a Pico 4 for now. It has flexible IPD and a better screen than the Quest 2, and only cost me 200€. The ecosystem is worse with less apps, but for getting my feet wet it’s ample.

I’d also be willing to pay for YouTube, if it ever splits from Google. Definitely not giving Google any money.

Do be aware though that many modern games with anti cheat will not run in Windows VMs. It was the reason why I deleted my Windows VM last year.

Good to hear. More support for Roundcube, while Nextcloud gets a better Email client than the current one.

It’s the original project that the original developer gave to somebody else, but then decided to continue working on the project anyway under the „Origin“ moniker. At some point ublock was sold and to quote Wikipedia: „since February 2019,

What’s your point? You didn’t make it. Before you said that your point was that people tell you you aren’t supposed to do those things. But you are able to remap your keys. Remapping keys has been possible in Wayland for quite a while in an

Are you talking about changing keymaps or just different keymaps? The last you setup in your DE and the first you use xkb as before. (Or at least that’s how I did it before)

I don't think the point is they will stop searching. But they will search less. Which, as we have seen in the recent Google anti-trust case, is also a point Google looks at intensively when they introduce new features.

I don’t know what extra features Beeper has, but I’ve been hosting my own Signal/Telegram bridges for 2 years now. And it’s been working fine with Element as client.

This isn’t even true for every webmail. Some run locally in the browser. Many don’t send the credentials to be saved cloud-side.

I moved away from the Lidl Zigbee stuff. It was just too low quality. Motion sensors would activate later and/or less than other vendors etc. Stuff like that. Ikea is great, Aqara and Sonoff works well as well. They arent much more exp

How does it shift the power from employees to companies? I get your argument for non employed individuals. But employees basically never retain their rights to the code they’ve written while employed.

The practice has been very controversial in the EU ever since GDPR took effect. It’s simply that nobody has been sued to the end for it yet.
