Just the next sentence goes like this: > Even if you are a woman and married to a Chinese husband it might not be enough, because he won't listen to you in business related issues. And yes, facts can be offensive. Doesn't make

This will fail so much. If you ever had anything to do with China you know there's no path in. Especially under Xi. Even in the old lang sine, when China was (more) open to the West it was still hard. Think about getting serious stuff

If you find the best way to describe the situation in 2 words then I have no problem if you say "age discrimination". But you shouldn't use it as excuse to not get what you want. E.g. you want to still code with 50? Then spen

Well I don't create the rules. Think of someone who does Judo for 20 years and still only wears a yellow belt. It seems like this person has no skill. The first impression is already negative, if one has a 20 something and a 50 somethi

Can't fully agree in quite a few points. I understand how the author got that feeling tho. Doing interviews is always eating away at one's confidence, no matter who you are. 1. no one believes anyone can actually code - I experien

There are so many buts. For instance, but this doesn't work in other countries where you can't downpay so little or where you can't get that kind of credit on a house. Or, but what happens if you default and you live in the h

Trolling right? If my phone can, and 86% of other smart phone users can then I'd say it doesn't really matter if iphone users can as well. They could buy a smart phone, too.

It is so obvious that it will be a failure. I know like 4 big Google projects and all seem to be failures (Kubernetes being the most successful, but still in hype so nobody realizes yet how mediocre it is). Right now it seems a good time to

The illusion here is that it ever was different. A new bank, a small bank, a new office in your location with strong competition, that's the short term situations where you get real service. A well established bank won't even try

I agree, however I don't think it's "just" the 9-5 job. If you had a big safety net and could move into your moms big house when sh*t hits the fan, even then having a 9-5 job you would still not follow some rules. But wh

People want to give away responsibility. That's imo the core problem. So even another business model will either fail (it's not like there aren't hundreds of other social networks out there) or will turn centralized as well.
