These adapters support hooking TB2 devices to a TB3 host, but not the other way around. Intel initially announced that TB3 devices would be compatible with TB2 hosts, but it looks like they quietly dropped this feature. It's _really_

Right, but is this a useful metric? I'm pretty sure 100% of Steam games are x86, and that users know that. Are there even any Mac PowerPC binaries on the store?

PC game hardware requirements are fuzzy though. It wouldn't be impossible, but it isn't obvious how to do it either.

I just replied to one of your other comments where I argued that the title was enough to tell you everything you need to know. But I guess I can see how other people wouldn't see it that way. For me, the fact that it is a game named S

I can see your point. But conversely I think "It's an iphone game named Super Mario Run" tells most gamers 90% of what they need to know.

Re:your edit, the PCIe lane configurations from the CPU aren't that flexible. There is no 4x+4x+4x+2x+1x+1x configuration. 4x Thunderbolt + 4x Thunderbolt + 8x GPU, with everything else on the PCH would make sense for the 15". O

The 40 GBit/s is definitely confusing. My understanding is that that's total bandwidth across all protocols. So the mix of Displayport and PCIe 3.0 can't exceed 40 GBit/s. The 4x PCIe 3.0 on it's own is 32 Gbit&#x

From a cryptocurrency perspective, if custom hardware (ASICs) gives a mining edge, then mining power will concentrate to those who build custom hardware. If commodity hardware is competitive for mining, then mining power is more likely to b

I'm under the impression that the Litecoin creators thought that scrypt would prevent ASIC miners, but they still wanted to be able to GPU mine, so they used low difficulty parameters. Which of course led to ASIC miners being implemen

Old games usually kept their sprite sizes to multiples of 8. 8x8, 8x16, 16x16, etc. So 8x10 would have been weird for the time, and anyone who thought about it would probably assume they were 8x8. But there was likely nothing actually &q

Games are a super competitive field. I wouldn't expect commercial success unless you can clearly identify an undeserved market niche that you can fill. Though of course market demand is also key in creating a successful ebook or SaaS

This article focuses mostly on design and the principles of rapidly prototyping a game, and I would say very little has changed in those areas over the years. Something that has changed is the available tools for rapid game development. Lu

Bus coverage in my city is nowhere near this good. High frequency routes are every 15min. Most are 30min, and some routes only run every hour. On demand with some delay would be a huge improvement.
