Instead of accusing the buyers who might unknowingly buy these cards, how about cover your losses using insurances? How about calling the police? Maybe paying more to buy a better insurance next time or hiring a government with better funde

These two things are simply not connected. The author can do what he want, he can also make it play Chinese national anthem when starting the software, and it'll be the same. It's not connected to the reliability of the software.

If I as a user think one thing is better than the other, does it make it automatically the more correct one? Unless you design doesn’t serve the purpose of a product but for yourself to feel better when compared to other designers.
