I think in addition to predict traffic jam for individuals, this can be used to adaptively control traffic lights and open/close lanes to reduce traffic jam for the whole system.

I think REST works if you need to fetch data but when you want to query data, I prefer a well defined language instead of hacking my http headers into a query language that I need to define, implement and maintain.

All of the high performing results are running with servers written in C/C++ tho. I think if we have a more performant ASGI server / event loop, the results might be different.
