   I'm going to guess its because panel gaps don't matter as much as most of the other features of a car.

   I switched from VS to Rider a few years ago and every time I have to go back for some old crusty project I get grumpy. Rider does more of what I want in an IDE for dotnet core. The console is integrated rather than being another window. bet

   I'm guessing that apple is trying to push their claim as far as they can to set case law as far out as they can. This kind of case decided in their favor can move that overton window quite a bit
