I suppose it’s possible to get a pretty good env with vim (you’re losing a lot without a mouse), but damn it’s a lot of work to get there... Before you tell me how it’s totally not, all the things you listed require specific knowledge, conf

What’s wrong with him asking for assistance? You could’ve just ignored his comment lol, no need to be so rude. Im dissappointed anyone upvotes you. This is bad behavior, shouldn’t be promoted.

I think you must’ve taken my comment too seriously... I agree that Firefoxs success does not depend on the meaning behind the name holyjit lol. It was just a joke. The main point was that if they came up with this name without the intention

That’s true, vims automation is great. I’ve had some success with multiple cursors in sublime text for instance, but vim really is the king here.

For intellisense/documentation it means having method names, arguments, types, and short summaries pop up as you’re typing. E.g “print” might complete or printf and give you all you need to know to use it on the spot. While vim has aut

Intellisense, in-line code documentation, debugger, unit tests, refactoring, file browser/project support, find usages/jump to definition, full project intelligent search. Even where vim supports these, it’s support is far weaker,

Ok, but that doesn’t mean it’s ok to say something like this and then completely neglect the underlying issues. Even if they’re not urgent, if you’re not working on them you should expect they will never get better on their own. That’s why

What about taking away peoples ability to go out with other? Looking at “cellphones” as one collective thing is foolish, it’s a platform on which all of modern life takes place- you’re causing them serious harm by taking away their phone

Does strategic speaking make any sense when you’ve both read these guides (the answer is no). I don’t think it’s normal to need a guide on how to communicate with people, and I don’t think a guide can help you if you feel like you need one.
