It’s probably best to not do side projects. The bang for your buck is pretty low.

You’re going to have a real working relationship with these people. I don’t think it makes sense to have a working relationship where you’re concerned so much about appearances. Don’t need to treat interviewers like they’re hypersensitive t

I think it’s be better if interviewers and interviewees wrote code like they would in the job - no excessive commenting/checking ... just write effective, clean concise code and minimize time wasted In reality it might be risky to do t

Asking questions for the sake of asking questions, while currently necessary, is stupid. I wish it would go away.

I think we should still strive to move towards being that way. Greed and maliciousness breed greed and maliciousness and it’s be good to root them out wherever we can.

I can relate, it worked for me too for a while. Still not really sure what I’m doing, but in a sense I’m back to where I was before I ever went doe that road... definitely might be totally wrong about things, I’m pretty afraid of that actua

Well then what do you say to the athletes in this thread who tried this for several years and felt no better? Have you been debunked? Does everyone have to spend 2 years of their life’s on your advice before they’re allowed to say “This doe

For me depression comes from thinking I should feel differently than I do, so fighting only makes that worse, whereas not fighting is better. Could be this is a cultural problem. In our culture we’re supposed to like work and everybody is e

And what do you say to people who have actually tried it and feel no better? Just try it more? And if that’s what you say, it seems you don’t hold this belief based on the fact that it works, but something unrelated entirely, and so I’d say

Agreed. Those people have nothing to offer the depressed. I’m not sure if they really want to help anyways, saying “oh just excercise” is useful the same way saying “not my problem” is useful. But then, why say anything st all?

I’m pretty sure depressed people don’t believe these things will help them. If they did, they would just force themselves into it despite feeling bad. The idea that there’s a problem here, rather than that exercise is just actually worthles
