With you on skepticism, and if the idea is to reserve judgement because we don’t know the facts (how many, when, why..) Not with you on accusing posters of having those 3 motivations. Maybe they do, but I would most certainly not assume it.

Agree. Everyone laid off should be encouraged not judged for sharing the news of their availability with their network, just as much as one might boast when they achieve a milestone or get a new security certification. And unfortunately ‘I’
