My particular complaint was, too much focus in covalent x ionic bonds, while metallic bonds were ignored completely. Not sure if current local high school curriculum still does this.

For me the major gain in Py3 is exactly the sane handling of strings, that fixes the major flaw of Py2: weaking the String type to make the migration to UnicodeStrings "easy".

These benefits are largely theoretical, I don't get any of them. Here (Brazil), unless you are a public servant, regular jobs with such benefits are all low-pay. I have been working as a consultant for my whole life.
