I have published a project to interact with house alarm systems manufactured by a local company [1]. It is a hobby project, I have it for my own use, don't expect it becomes a money printing machine. Yet, since many users request featu

In Brazil it is 6%, some agents used to charge even 8% or 10% but the trend is towards 5% (since real estate became expensive here as well in the last 12 years).

I had more luck with YOLOv8. But I still keep the motion-detected archive (generated by DVR-Scan) for some months, and the raw footage for a couple weeks as well.

+1. I have security cameras at home, and my "DVR" is a collection of shell scripts plus a Python script that uses YOLO to find the interesting parts of the footage. The thing works , helps a lot to review daily footage, was damn

Preparation is probably a big factor. Some meat houses ('churrascarias') serve grilled mutton here but I can't stand the taste, it immediately remembers me of a smelly rain-soaked lamb. But I ate mutton in a dinner in England

Had this problem in xBase (Clipper with NTX indexes): sorting by date but there were many null (empty) dates in that particular column. Added another date column (that was never null) to the index just to provide entropy.

This is a letdown of the current state of technology - guess most of us expected to be able to run a (regular distro) Linux on $2 chips that could even embed a "real time processor" to do the bitbanging. The opposite happen: a Ras

Same situation here - very excited particularly about no_std but it would be a big time investment on a framework/language I probably won't use professionaly. Still wanted to move away from Arduino/C++, found the sweet spot o

It is quite expensive (US$ 50-ish). In 2023 we should have plenty of $2-5 chips capable of running a normal distro of Linux.

Wish there was an ESP64 with just enough RAM to run a Debian distro, even slowly, so we could stop waiting for Zeros to get cheaper.
