Rust is lower-level, it is a replacement for C and C++. I'd love to work with Rust but there are only so much low-level projects where it makes sense - kernels, Web engines, things like HTTP servers. Go covers those cases where you wo

Let's not confuse a suburb with a smaller city. I live in a 500k hab city, that's the hard limit for me. But it is a fully functional city, not an island of houses; I don't have to drive 16km to buy groceries.

Marriage is expensive and divorce is even more expensive, especially for men. The antidote is to marry only in your money league, or higher. Women used to do that, for their own protection - now men must do the same, and obviously the matin

I sold my DSLR because I seldom used it, and mirrorless is the thing of the future. But they are currently too expensive, and you can't even find mirrorless for sale in some markets (e.g. Brazil). But a good camera is irreplaceble, I p

Sure, the changes went beyond one-way streets, that was one of the tools; but the final result was, you used to be able to go A to E almost straight, now you need to go A,B,C,D,E.

I have a first-hand experience: my town created a lot of "binaries", that is, converted pairs of streets into one-way avenues, in order to speed traffic. But now one needs to drive 4x longer to reach the same destination. Even if
