- phamilton 7y agoGrowing up in Southern California, the annual day at Disneyland had an incredibly packed schedule, full of strategies for when to go on a particular ride. We still enjoy Disneyland today, but I've learned to just slow down. Look at the colorful brickwork of the castle, eat at a sit down restaurant in New Orleans square, watch a parade. Maybe I skip riding Pirates of the Caribbean if the line is too long. Maybe we head back to the hotel when the lines get long and enjoy the pool. It ends up being a much more enjoyable day, something closer to what I supposed Walt Disney imagined so many years ago. Sometimes you do get more by doing less.
