That depends on their tax policies. Spending plans less English handouts leaves a huge gap to fill. Of course they'll try to support fledgling businesses but if the large wealthy businesses (and people) leave then ... I know plenty of busin

Actually all you need to do is permit people to enter wildcards and print the results if (say) less than 100 matches are found, so they enter 1234 6789 and you search for 1234 6789

FFS! If you notice, swap them round. If the original author is using bundled earbuds for critical listening then he is not the audiophile he flatters himself to be. Rather, I suspect this is some kind of ODCish reaction to being uncertain w

You do not get real foreign accents on prime time American television, the viewers would be bemused and look for subtitles. You get what Americans think are foreign accents, i.e. lightly accented. The one exception is that Brits playing bad

It might be a gigabyte if there were about 90 characters per line 1 or 2 gigabytes tops? "on the order of gigabytes" is a rather pretentious way of saying that.

A splendidly heroic way to miss the point. Someone who doesn't complain isn't actively trying not to complain, they are content with their lot. Thus, forcing yourself yourself not to complain is as silly an ambition as declaring "I will not

This is just a feeble attempt at discrediting Apple, pathetic really. "how does that not qualify as obvious?" If it was indeed so obvious for so long why did we have to wait until Apple did it for every one to realise it? Either Apple innov

This judgement says nothing about innovation. Note to whiners: copying isn't innovation. Apple innovate (and have exceptional design taste), that is why they are successful. Samsung just produce thinly disguised, poorly made knock-offs. Sam
