I think people assume that drug development is still slow. For many targets, the time from discovery to market is around 6-7yrs (per a big pharma VP I spoke to a few years ago)

Cold can kill, viral pneumonia is real as our current pandemic can attest to. There's certainly a market to cure all sorts of viral illness. Take tamiflu as an example. Most people if they get a flu will use it once a year to reduce sy

I was about to comment that, it seems pretty impressive, that alone makes it pretty compelling if it can actually achieve that in real world use. I'd love to see that kind of range trickle down to the lower priced vehicles, or even oth

I think that's a pretty fair assessment, there's generally minimal risk at normal dosages you find in the store (1000IU or whatever). If you're really concerned, a quick visit to the doctor to get baseline labs is a good way

If just looking for a portable display, there are plenty on amazon. I bought a Chinese brand, magedock, because they had a touch screen 1600p model that was more portable than the others (no battery though).

I would like to point out the limitations of the linked paper (you can follow along in the discussion section of the paper). Hopefully this can generate enough discussion on how to better design studies like this in the future: 1. Statistic

Might be interesting to see if we can get more reusable medical supplies in the future. Autoclave for sterility, replace smaller portions (like needles) to reduce waste. Plastic has its place for its characteristics, but if we can do the sa

This just seems like lazy doctoring compounded by busy schedules. If you can't summarize what's going on succinctly, what was the point of all that training? God forbid you spend a little more time on patients.
