That seems frighteningly unclear. If you do need the "nuclear" option, why not have that be the case where you get into weird specificity hacks (flat.flat !important / hack /) and leave the common style clear in its inte

What linter are you using? ESLint handles JSX fine as far as I know. And with eslint-plugin-react it actually does some pretty neat validation on it as well. I will say that I initially disliked the inline markup as well, but it honestly ju

To be fair, a 5 on something like Calc BC means you got more than like 60% credit. It's not surprising that someone on the low end of that would struggle.

I think you underestimate some private schools. At least at mine, high level APs would have only 10ish specially approved students with a professor who'd taught the class forever. Our calc BC professor had supposedly only had 3 non-5s

It was a neat tool for sure, but apparently did not work in multi-process Firefox. Guess it wasn't used enough to merit a rewrite.

From my understanding, there's not a lot of performance benefit in most cases and a performance degradation in others. Also there's some reluctance to change the behavior of existing code. Plus a whole bunch of unaddressed debuggi

Love #16 and the associated article. I cringe when I see something like "js fix" as a commit message. However, not on board with the hate for rebase. If it's your feature branch and you aren't sharing it with others, I&#

Time zones and DST are fun. When I worked at a healthcare software company, many hospitals chose to have their yearly upgrades done in the fall during the DST transition, because 1) it's confusing to see or even display documentation f

Seems like everyone should just be using an automated tool to catch missing/extra semicolons. No reason not to at this point, and eslint even autofixes them for you.

I don't see how that is worse than the alternative where every library rewrites its own version of the micromodules. With N libraries with their own version of leftpad, you get N copies of leftpad. With N libraries sharing versions of

Use it all day every day. It's fairly solid. One incredibly frustrating bug is that dw on the last word in a line deletes the newline, which is pretty unexpected. I've gotten in the habit of doing d$ since it's been that way

It sounds (and is) shallow, but I wouldn't download an app with the after icons. It looks cheap and distracts from the icon that matters. Also backing that up, I have only 3 apps not hidden in folders which do the double icon thing: E

Yowza, that's a big upgrade. We did 0.12 to 0.13 to 0.14, and it wasn't too bad since React had deprecation warnings that are pretty clear.

Eh, Epic and Cerner interface fine, and offer HL7 interfaces, and Epic in particular bends over backwards to do what their customers want for implementations. My impression was that hospitals are (understandably) reluctant to allow their di

GRRM does love his unreliable narrators. Jon and Sam have an interesting conversation about how many Lord Commanders there were before him, and there's a few fan theories spun off out of that. And A World of Ice and Fire is a "his

I actually quite like Boom Beach, and to a lesser extent, Clash. Without having spent a dollar, I've easily spent more time and gotten more enjoyment out of them than Fallout 4, Just Cause 3, and Dragon Age Inquisition, the 3 AAA title
