I don't hate Paypal, but I'd prefer not to implement anything again against the Paypal API. I wrote a small e-commerce engine for a friend's site a couple of years ago, utilizing Paypal for the shopping cart & IPN to notify the site whe

Resign without signing the agreement. About the only way I would sign such an agreement would be if the company put two years’ salary in escrow for payment to me during the two year period.

I've lived in Brooklyn for eleven years, Manhattan for three years before that. I grew up in Chicago, went to school in Pittsburgh and have spent significant time in Sydney and San Francisco. I don't think you can do wrong by coming to NYC,

I think you’re trying to solve the wrong problem. I think you should run your startup wherever you feel comfortable living. My city is a great city, it has many neighborhoods you can feel "home" in, it has great food, it has a lot of money

Under one iteration of SOPA, the copyright holder could file a private action to have the infringing site shutdown. Alternately the copyright holder could file an action with the US DOJ to have the site shut down. In either scneario the f

I've been fighting spam bots of one form or another since 1994. I think it's actually easier now to use a plain email address on a web site as a contact method than it was ten years ago…almost everyone gets that you can click on an address
