I'm guessing this and power issues are due to the non-native compositer which pcwalton wants to fix in 2019 https://pcwalton.github.io/2018/12/07/plans-for-2019.html

I think it is healthy to have some projects pushing the envelope on what is possible. It provides a goal to work towards and helps test out those new language features so they can be further refined before hitting stable. It becomes less he

Personally, I think I prefer the idea of adopting sccache more with some kind of trust system for sharing caches (official build servers, a consensus system, or something else?). After programming C++ for years, I much prefer relying on a l

Doesn't that just install into a global-to-the-user path? Isn't one of the things we're trying to avoid is conflicts between these tools. For example, pip is now more freely breaking compatibility. I now need to ensure if

Except how do I install pipenv in the first place? Or why do I need to use pipenv to install pipsi so pipsi can manage my virtualenv environments.

The biggest problem I have with python packaging tools is how do I start using them. I'd rather not install all of them in my global site-packages. Do I need to create a virtualenv just to get a tool to manage my virtualenv's? I

The problem I ran into with pip-tools (and I assume pipenv has this) is that the lock files are platform and python-version specific (evaluates all of the conditionals for the given platform) when I do a lot of stuff cross-platform.

The other way SAN isn't json compatible is lack of null. As for heterogenous list types, great reason to have them is when your list is logically the same type but physically isn't. In some formats like Cargo.toml, the following a
