Jump Drive - http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-27/?action=preview... I've used threejs for the graphics and cannonjs for the physics.

The problem is that every site owner displays a slightly different popup. A few of my friends were trying to build a chrome extension[1], but they soon figured out they are going to need custom Javascript for every site in Slovenia (and oth

I've tried something similar once. I got asked about the binary search algorithm. After some high level discussion on the idea behind it, I told the interviewer I hope I won't have to implement it. The algorithm is known for being

Just to add my experience with Google to the pile: After the initial screenings and interviews with two different recruiters (one from Dublin and the second one from Switzerland) I finally get to the first technical interview. I struggled a

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you have the same issue on other sites that use WebGL or just mine?

I agree, and I don't run chrome with the flag for day-to-day browsing. I'd still like to know what that reason is though and how come Firefox doesn't have the same issue.

Thanks! I had no trouble at all with the text. I just created a centered div above the webgl canvas and loaded a custom font from google fonts. I believe I used jquery to accomplish all of this. It felt like cheating because there was no wa

My drivers (older ATI card) are blacklisted as well, but starting chrome with the ignore-gpu-blacklist flag works fine. WebGL also works fine within Firefox, so I really don't understand why Chrome keeps blacklisting the drivers...

I really like coupling html and webgl, but thus far I've only done it the other way round: adding html on top of webgl. I did this in my last LudumDare game jam [1]. I used html to render nice looking text on top of webgl. Although it&

Your might have a blacklisted gpu driver. Try running chrome with the startup flag --ignore-gpu-blacklist

The animation also gets stuck from time to time. The overall experience is way better without it.

I don't see myself paying for the service with only a handful of jobs available, but I like the idea and I would pay for the service if it provided quality jobs. Have you considered offering the service for free to early bird adopters?

Yes it's scrolled down when you visit a profile that is not your own. It just goes to show the picture shouldn't be that big in the first place it's just wasted bandwidth...

And they keep telling me to update my cover photo (not via email though), but the new cover photos are so big that most of the users need to scroll down to see my name. A horrible user experience.

This is true, but even if you add half a screen of bookmarks you will still get at least 600pixels left for the address bar, more than enough to identify fake sites.

I just tried the latest daily build. For some reason Unity dash stops working smoothly once I change the resolution from 1024x768 to 1680x1050. Might be because of my dated graphics card (ati firegl).

I've been anticipating rumors such as these ever since Google announced Google Game Services. I just hope said services get improved before the actual console launches.

Those cookie law popups are even worse than ads. And what's even worse they don't really do anything - a lot of Slovenian websites just added the popup, but the use of cookies hasn't changed. I do have to hand it to the peopl

Yes, google+ games are being deprecated. But Google Game Services is something very different, it's an API that makes it easy for game developers to implement achievements, scoreboards and multiplayer. It turns out that your users need a go

I actually like the tabs idea, but at the moment I find it useless. If there was an option to show my custom labels (instead of the predefined ones) it would be an awesome addition.

Actually the feature is already live (or at least I can see it), so most of the comments probably aren't based on the blog alone.
