I was really excited about Google Game Services and I've even implemented them into my game, but then I discovered users need a Google+ account (not just a Google account) in order to use high-scores/achievements. Now I'm considering whethe

But there doesn't seem to be an option for custom labels (tabs). You can only choose between Social, Promotion, Updates and Forums at the moment.

I've tried running it on Ubuntu 12.10. The install script seems to work without a problem, but when I try to run their command line tool (basil) it dies without an error message...

They are editable for me. I tried it in Google Chrome 24.0.1312.69 and Chromium 24.0.1312.5. Both on Linux. Which version do you have?

It's true it isn't proper news. But it still seems there are a lot of developers out there that didn't know about this feature and this is definitely news to them.

I think your extension was one of the few I tried. Sorry for the slight bashing, I appreciate what you're doing and I'd actually like to help you out in any way I can! Have you tried getting in touch with Chrome developers? Printing out inf

I couldn't find one that worked consistently. Sometimes they detected source code changes and did a hot swap successfully, but other times something went wrong. And because of this inconsistency I never knew whether I changed the wrong peac

I agree, that would be useful. There are some extensions out there that try to do just that, but I didn't find them all that useful.

I've tried using your app in Chromium (on Ubuntu 12.10), but the the flash permission doesn't show up ( http://imgur.com/VD25h ). It seems to be working in Google Chrome, though.

Yes, but couldn't this be handled by the OS? You could have a special option in the development tools, that allows you to run hot swappable apps.
