FSD is rigorously tested before release. The revisions and updates are safety tested on roads for months before they are released. Tesla also has models that are too big to run on existing production hardware that perform better than the re

Are you referring to autopilot or FSD? Phantom braking is a solved problem since the release of V12 FSD. As soon as a vision based car is safer than a human, it's flaws don't matter because it will save lives. Supervised FSD is al

Useful for cutting in a line (although fs pulse length is overkill for most applications), not so efficient for surface modifications over large areas. For enhanced absorbance, alternative technologies that come to mind could be electrodepo

Only skimmed the paper but this looks more like an advance in absorbing solar energy through laser patterning a metal than in more efficient thermoelectric effects. Laser patterning is a lot easier than improving thermoelectric device effic

Outdated information. This is from several updates ago. The cars are constantly improving through over the air upgrades.

Not possible. FSD won't activate without someone in the front seat. Also the eye tracking camera will disengage the system if you don't look at the road.

Same thing I do in a cab. Judging the "driver's" performance. FSD is better than most Uber drivers.

Let's make a deal. You invest $100 in my company. I won't take a salary unless I at least double your money. Everytime I double your money you owe me 1% of your gains. Is this a fair deal? That's the deal we voted for and Tes

I use it everyday. It is completely normal for it to drive 30km+ trips flawlessly. Incredible value for money in my opinion.

This is what people said in 2018 when the stock was 16$. In case you aren't keeping up Tesla signed a $17billion agreement with Samsung to produce their AI6 chip family which is designed to replace the dojo architecture. It is a harmon

Everytime you put your foot on the accelerator while the system is engaged a warning pops up saying the car will not brake. It happens right away and has nothing to do with any other warnings. If you own a Tesla you have seen this warning o

There is a huge environmental benefit to buying a Tesla not only in the mitigated emissions but in the transfer of emission credit money from polluters to clean energy focused Tesla. Tesla's scale and innovation has dramatically change

So many posters I this thread are obviously child free. The idea of carting kids to soccer practice on the bus, or shopping for a family of 4 and taking the bus with 100 pounds of groceries is absurd. I guarantee half the people posting her
