Free shipping for a low priced item isn't sustainable. It's there to get traction. That's what amazon.in is doing right now. There's nothing wrong with offering free shipping above a certain threshold (like Amazon.com ha

At $899, Surface Pro 2 is an amazing device. Microsoft needs to do a much better job at educating people about its capabilities. It's not just a combo of Macbook Air & iPad, it is your good old Windows with all the legacy apps. Obv

They (Apple) ask for it with words like "this changes everything" & "most forward looking". The truth is, Apple folks love the aura & being put on a pedestal. They do not want to be treated like a normal company.

My biggest pet peeve is the 'trigger happy mods' at Stackoverflow. They jump at the opportunity to lock a question. Often questions are well suited for SO & there's no better place to find a credible answer.

It's an interesting marketing scheme. Doesn't cost a lot. Per day they sell max 3000 kg of onions (will go on for 7 days). This will perhaps bring them a lot more publicity than advertisement space they can buy for that dollar. Pr

Oh, I was asking that for my knowledge. Since you can easily patch all licensing methods on a binary (I guess including checksums), the only way to verify integrity is to compare it with a trusted copy at the authors home.
