My suggestion for fixing the client cert problem is to task the browser with certificate generation upon profile creation. There are significant security implications of course, but sites aren't really incentivized to support client ce

While the UX side of things could be made quite simpler, but I think a significant hurdle for client certificates is authentication through proxies.

Actually, one needn't extend anything in order to accomplish this sort of device. There already exist link element relationships for next and previous, a user agent need only keep track of those and render the URI bar accordingly if it was
