Gotta love that they provided a diff instead of just updating it and saying it's been updated.

I'd pay the premium to know that I'm not getting something laced with rat poison or PCP.

The public includes parents, friends and members of the opposite sex. A lot of people confuse what others think of them with self worth.

Personally, the Droids seem to be clunkier and of poorer quality. Plus you'll have to deal with whatever crap Verizon puts on it. The DroidX may have better specs, but I love my N1. It's a really solid phone.

I've tried this. It's extremely neat. Much better than emailing a URL to yourself.

This is a clear demonstration of one of the main drawbacks of webapps. If you don't like v2, there's nothing you can do about it except switch to a different product. You also can't wait for v2.1 for all the bugs get shaken out. You're a

When I was roughly 12, I was shoveling snow for my mom and she told me what it meant to have a strong work ethic. She said it was part of being Catholic. At the time, that was important to me, so the having a strong work ethic became part

Melatonin and dim lights (no laptop, tv or cell phone) for about an hour works for me. Also, try waking up earlier. I used to have your problem, but now I regularly fall asleep in 10-15 minutes after going to bed.

It is not a replacement for GWT. Closure is for people that want to write Javascript. GWT is for people that want to write Java.

I suspect it's because various governments want it as evidence of some wrong doing.

Opera is still the only browser that doesn't support any method of making a script load asynchronously. Firefox was the first browser to support the HTML5 async attribute for scripts.

Sorry, can you explain what you mean?

Right, but then you have to require that your script be loaded synchronously. And this is really just a hack to get around the fact that browsers don't provide a proper API.

This solution fails when you need to insert the script more than once in a page. Instead, browsers really should provide scripts a means to retrieve the script element that they belong to.

The resources tab in the developer tools is a good start. But I'd love to see the ability in the extensions API to inspect (and manipulate) the HTTP stream.

From what I've heard, very few engineers were using Windows in the first place. This mostly affected sales people.

That still may break sites if the variables that ga.js defines are used outside of a try/catch.

Selling mp3s may not be the point. This may just be a really great feature that helps sell phones. Certainly, iTunes integration is a major selling point for iPhones.

What are the implications of "when the user has installed a VP8 codec on Windows"? Does this mean users will have to install the codec for VP8 videos to be playable in IE? If so, that seems like a half-measure...

The word "failure" appears 0 times on this page. It's not in the title. It's not in the story. It's not even in the comments. Same goes for the word "fail". What's with the agenda?

I had the same experience with their Android version. Tried it, but I don't see a reason to use it over the default browser (and yeah, the interface is a little odd).
