Why would he care about 1/250 of his wealth so much if he sees huge benefit in exposing bots on Twitter, perhaps even financial benefit much greater than $1B?

And then Trump's ;-) if you think Biden could've got so many fake votes, do you really think Trump had only real votes?

But this stuff doesn't really happen in free democracies, does it? We're comparing socialism to other systems and this is a feature of socialism (as proven by the other crazy socialist states, it's not just Cuba) - that makes

I just can't see the reason why this is about social media, and not about personal relations in general. Someone makes me sad IRL - I don't listen to them. Someone makes me sad on social media - well I don't listen to them. W

They're not attacking the sites, they're attacking the users. Incentives are exactly the same with readonly sites. I'm a web programmer and I have no idea how the law enforcement could in any way help. Nor do I want them to.

The rest of the world doesn't have such problem, I wonder why... Might have something to do with the crazy socialist politicians putting Soviet nukes there, perhaps?

I don't see how that proves anything specific to social media, I'm "unfollowing" people IRL all the time, it's not like I want to hear everything someone has to say, especially not if it makes me sad.

The Bloomberg article is incomplete, it doesn't mention that depending on how big the error is it could be considered securities fraud and that might automatically void the agreement.

But does it exacerbate the problem more than other ways of social interaction? As opposed to a real life social interaction, I can simply hit Unfollow on Facebook (so we stay Friends but I don't see your posts unless I look for them)..

If these people think they're the only ones with problems and other people's lives are problem-free, well that's the issue. Not even the most accomplished person has a smooth ride.

Maybe he just decided to expose the real amount of bots on Twitter and this is the only way it could actualy end in something accurate and something most people will take as a fact? I really don't think he needs market manipulation at

But why would I? It's not like they took something from me. I am the lord of my destiny. And how is it in any way different from the same people telling me this stuff at a pub? I don't think social media has anything to do with th

Better use your Geiger ;-) it's really significant, it should be one of the main reasons we should phase out coal totally and ASAP.

No, that's absolutely incomparable. Cuba is a shithole from hell comparable only to places such as North Korea, Bolivia or Venezuela ( coincidentally also socialist states, huh), none of the other places are.

Cuba - given its position, climate, etc - should be absolutely thriving. What you're seeing there is a collapse, it has just reached its bottom (and there's no crazy politician who wants to build a huge ass rocket - yet).

The same way coal and gas radioactivity is managed It's not as safe as people think. It's spewing much more radioactivity around than actual nuclear power plants.

What's so impossible about nuclear power? Red tape is purely social, not technological issue.

And I'm saying that you're presenting a non-problem. Traits such as gay/straight won't be changed by genetic engineering, probably ever, so there's no need to have this discussion.

It's not malicious compliance. It's for power-users who already own or don't want to own a copy of Windows. It's a good thing that we (where I live) fought hard for - fortunately here it wasn't about laws but only a

Not every tool a language offers should be used in your normal day-to-day dev work. Doesn't mean it's useless. I'm writing a dependency-less CLI tool with Node and just have used apply - super helpful ;-) I've also used

This is really lovely, gives me ST: TOS vibes. There are also some CRT-like video filters (shaders), that could be nice on this too.
