Celts were on the Isle of Man long before the Vikings, but I'm just nit-picking. I agree that the history of Vikings is way more fascinating and complicated than what's typically paraded about. Shoutouts to Tore Hund!

… which is also why the cookie banner scourge shows how nefarious companies are these days. They don't need identifiable information for their analytics, they're just all super greedy.

I don't understand this viewpoint, but I've seen it a lot so you're definitely not alone. A large part of what's useful about SASS are the mixins and functions, not just nesting - do you just not use those?

Are those fake chargers/cases compatible with the genuine earbuds? I'd have no qualms about getting some of those if so.

Your perception of money really isn't consistent with the vast majority, I'd imagine. Frivolously throwing money at unnecessary subscriptions isn't something for me.

I did try browsing around and changing the themes before making that comment, but the only theme for me was pain.

Interesting at a core, but I'm too fickle to browse a site that looks like it was made to intentionally be a painful viewing experience.

Yeah, I'd buy their megadora ones ideally, £25+ per screwdriver is too expensive imo.

Cheers for the recommendation. Doesn't seem to be JIS though? It can be hard to tell and I'm no expert at all, but they seem to be normal Philips.

Been looking for JIS screwdrivers which don't cost a fortune here in Europe, not had much luck. Don't quite need it before a few months from now but it's still frustrating!

Struggling to put much weight on an article that can't get the name of the company right, despite it being plastered in massive letters on the side of the ships in the pictures. Lithium batteries are scary when they're damaged tho

Pretty cool. Struggled with some expression related things, but I'm sure it'll improve rapidly. Will give it a proper go when/if they release a browser add-on.

I really struggled with moving to macOS for work, but a couple of utilities helped a lot: AltTab - Windows style tabbing between windows, including thumbnails and tiles for each open window of an application[1]. brew install --cask al

It's more than just that it's opt-out - It's that the setting is even named 'opt in', while not being opt in at all.

Forgive my ignorance as I've never set up anything like this, but how do you then deal with the potential for extremely long passwords? Can that be detrimental on the back end?
