I replied to a sibling comment. Among other reasons, it treated a very mild inflammation of the ear i had. The inflammation disappears, but it comes back after 5 to 10 days. I don't want to take antibiotics again for that reason, let a

The reason i am doing it, is to smooth out any wrinkles on my face. Not that i have many, one or two, but the ice cold water completes smooths out the skin. I found out accidentally, that it treated a very mild case of inflammation in the e

I don't have tinnitus, but i put my head into ice cold water everyday for an hour. I would be very surprised if ice cold water for an hour, does not treat tinnitus successfully in a week. Mind you, ice cold water, not just cold water.

Certain proofs about a program, implemented using types, are useful in high level programming, as well as low level programming. See Rust in the linux kernel [1], and Rust on Android[2]. One way to think about it, is that proofs about a pro

You need a way to track the sequence of comments. Not the comments, but the sequence of them, in a sha form. Some kind of ledger is the first thing that comes to mind.

Lol, awesome fragmede. The program has some defects though. The username, of which the comments it is looking for, is hardcoded into the code. The standard convention for CLI tools, is to create a .rc file, like .hn_reply_notifierrc and sav

When some people are seeding a torrent for 20 years, with no benefit or profit to extract, there is a good deal of idealism involved. That's admirable. I am not trying to downplay their effort. But money gives an answer to some problem

Indeed P2P technologies seem to be fading out of existence. But i expect a comeback, not a small comeback, or a medium one, an earth shattering comeback. The key problem P2P technologies are going to solve, is monetizable self publishing. S

True, and a good way to explain it to a layperson is through a comparison of Html and Python. Are there any implementations of Python in Html? No, because Html is not a programming language. Are there any implementations of Html in Python?

If beginners in Python programming are not capable of visiting python.org, assuming they are genuinely interested in learning Python, it would be very questionable how good their knowledge on the subject can really be.
