Build a java application with RHEL-base-jdk:10 and from commit id:[HASH], that is as reproducible as it gets. As is stated you can save all the build dependencies in an Docker image, so you can go back and look at it later. Usually it is en

That kind of thinking stems from having the car as a first choice, it's easy to go 50km with a car instead of 7km. If bicycle and walking become the first choice for short travels under 7 km then you will see that you can reach most th

Sounds really bad having to go by bus for an hour, I have 2-10 stores within walking distance (3-35 minutes), in a similarly sized and populated area. It would be really interesting understanding why there are no stores in some areas.

It's the curse of the internet communication then, I should have quoted what I'm protesting against: It takes time to cook a nice meal . One need to define what "takes time" means, and what is difficult about getting t

Does it really matter, my question was why would you not cook food yourself? I'm not offering a model that other people should copy. From experience cooking daily for 8 people is not that much worse than for 2 people, it's just a

It takes ~15min-60min to cook, serve and eat a meal, that is time that you can spend together. It has never been hard to find the time to do that, is this really a problem people have? (But I do live very close to a nice little store ~2 min

How much time and money do you want to spend, decide that then do it. Worrying over what other people are doing is not helpfull. I spend no time, and quite a lot of money on that problem.

Spring is terrible in that sense, and you do find professionals arguing for Spring and strongly typed language. That said it's not an argument I've ever heard before being part of a Spring centric shop.

I would say that is something truckdrivers spend a lot of time avoiding, by exprience and professionalism. The same can not be said about driverless tech companies, everyone really want to be first, that makes children and other soft target

You get better throughput with less speed in dense environments, see pedestrians and bicyclists. The problem with highways is that they are optimized for speed and sparse environments.
