I am amused by this comment, because it shows a dramatically different type of thinking. I have probably have thought "I wish this was faster" for nearly everything I do on a computer :)

Neat that this thesis was written by a student of ralfj [1][2] (who has done a lot of work to drive forward formal definitions for rust). [1] https://research.ralfj.de/ [2] https://news.ycombinator.com/user?

Does anyone have a recommendation about where to host an internet-facing mail server? I've been running my own mail server on various VSPs (digital ocean and linode), but sending email is not quite as reliable as I'd like it to b

While I appreciate the desire to show off your creation, a "Show NH" that requires people to sign up for a $20/month service isn't all that great from my perspective.

One thing I've observed is that every smallish projects (~10k LoC) can take a while to build if you're working on slow network filesystems. When using local disks, a 10k LoC project takes ~5 seconds to build When using network FS,

From my own personal experience, I definitely struggle sometimes to understand if my state is Send or not. So the line you quoted from the article resonates with me.

Do you feel confident in your ability to detect when the LLM is wrong? For me personally, I don't have the confidence to do this , which is why I feel like I need to verify everything, even in the 5% case.

I'm sure others will feel differently (and I'm very eager to hear from others with different views), but for me there's not that much difference in usefulness between a model that's wrong 5% of the time and one that'
