I cannot give a fair comparison because I haven't done much outside of the the demo stuff with React. However, I will say that React seems to have much more tooling and a bigger community. Riot may be easier to get into and understand

I like this syntax. How do you pass values to a component and how do you nest components with values and lets say, loop over an array and create a (sub)component? Also, when you embed a component, is there a way to interact with it? This lo

I've been playing around with RiotJs (actually committed some fixes/features to the repo). I think what is attractive about both Riot and React is that everything is "defined" in JavaScript, there isn't really a sep

In the next 10 or so years, kids will have some pretty cool toys. My son would love to have this for his bike rides. 2025 these things will be as common as an iPad and will have things like environment-awareness. This looks pretty cool. I c

I was definitely talking API design choices. A lot of libraries achieve the same tasks, sometimes more, than jQuery with more thought-out APIs.

jQuery's bad api naming shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who followed JavaScript in the past 10 years. They used bind for event handling, proxy for binding, grep as some kind of filtering, keys and indexes are flipped in the
