Hilarious because i've been flip flopping on how they worked. The arrows seem to be a paradigm from mouse-based computing, can you scroll these lists like on ios?

Yeah, I said it wasn't racketeering because it was legal

Could you imagine Bill Gates and Balmer busting up legs of Asian/European execs? I get your point, but is is racketeering if it is legal -- 'pay us or we'll sue' seems to be the norm

I guess it depends on what you do and how you do it. Some business dependent software do not exist across platform. For example, we deploy to Linux servers so we want our dev environments to closely match that, kinda hard to do with Windows

They probably won't, which is why in an earlier thread I said that IEN will always be IE6. My assumption would be that they'd do something along the lines of webDirectX and we'd have to create a shim to give it a common interface.

I'm not trying to troll, but is IEN really just IE6? Has 10 caught up to Webkit/Opera/Firefox? One of the main reasons I feel that why IEX will be IE6 is its lack of support for webGL

Does anyone else hate multiple returns? A do/while condition would satisfy this situation. or while True: if False: break in python

Not to be dismissive, but I feel that if you're a jQuery user, you shouldn't be calling it jQuery-like|style|whatever suffix either. The purpose of terms like fluent interface is so that we can identify a pattern and speak a common language

I honestly think that HackerNews readers would understand "fluent interface."

Well in JS you could do String.prototype.fnName = function(){}; to add fnName as a method to all strings even if they are already instantiated, is that possible with Python?

Python is a very cool language. I wonder if using __metaclass__ in some fashion would allow for javascript-like prototyping.
