Never heard of the brand, the phone looks pretty unique from a quick look at their website. But using parentheses in your brand name is a bit of a head-scratcher.

For casual web browsing, on some sites I find it more efficient to click links directly on the screen instead of using a cursor. A big one for me, pinch to zoom for images/charts/maps is a lot more natural to me on a touchscreen.

I'd rather buy a similarly light laptop, that has a touchscreen. You can already get AMD Zen 3+ machines in this size class, that isn't too far behind in perf & efficiency. Doing so gives you much better Linux compatibility, a

Lots of great advice here. The HN community is truly amazing. I've decided to work on my own issues regarding starting right now. Small steps, consistency, and rethinking failures as learning opportunities. Won't be easy, but we c

Because: 1. I already have nice earphones, I don't want to spend another $200-$250 for no reason (the going price of most wireless earbuds I've been interested in) 2. Way lower latency than bluetooth. 3. I have too many things to

Should be a simple fix. It might just need regulation on the balance wheel (super quick, no need to disassemble the whole movement), or one of the pinions might be bent (just replace that wheel). Take it to a watchmaker, a fix like this wou

I love the craigslist UI. So simple and traditional, most 80 year olds can use it.

It's enough for me. I have a 2022 4K TV that I just never connected to a network and everything works just fine.

Same here. I actively made an effort to tell coworkers how much I hate Jira. Hopefully new startups choose something more sensible.

If you're hosting your code on GitHub, then GitHub projects is definitely worth using. Does everything I used to use Jira for, but feels more modern and lightweight. Also, it has dark mode.

Still looks better than most of the compact crossovers nowadays which look neither here nor there. At least the element looks unique and utilitarian. And considering the short length (it's shorter than the current corolla hatch), the c

I recently decided to take a month of reddit for the sake of my crippled attention span. Over the past year, I've already narrowed down my subreddits to what I'd consider useful information, but that only helped a little. There&#x

Racing sims are where VR truly comes into its own. Racing sims especially. Many popular racing sims have great VR support, and a lot of them have very detailed textures (compared to the average VR game). Combine that with a good wheel and a

Really depends on the thing. Surfboards, motorcycles, hell even some nice speakers. Those are things you buy once, yet provide continuous great experiences (at minimal extra cost) for many years to come. Of course, traveling is amazing too,

Not true at all. All camera makers take years (some times 5 or more) to update their sensors to newer versions. And while feature updates like better EVFs or better video specs are a bit more frequent, they aren't yearly. Probably clos

Yup, as a developer, being able to build a UI once and have it work pretty much identically on Linux, Windows, and MacOS is a huge time saver. But whenever I actually use an electron app; the startup times and half-baked keyboard support (I
