I'm more and more wary of Firefox updates because they keep pulling shit like that. Why are they doing this? How many users are there saying "I wish my bookmarks would suddenly take up double the space as before, so I have to scro

Why does every IM UI library have a dropdown widget that they call "Combo box"? Dear IMGUI, Nuklear, this one does it too. A dropdown list is not a combo box - a combo box is a text input box combined with a dropdown list. This

Looks to me like this kind of reasoning will eventually go all the way up to "they can start their own society", and at some point, it will actually happen. surprised pikachu

How is that censorship? It's a private company, they should be free to choose what kind of content they want to provide.

I'm just a big fan of Lua for its simplicity and power, especially LuaJIT. LÖVE makes excellent use of it.

If anyone is interested, I made an implementation of this (based on the GPU Gems article) in Lua using the LÖVE framework that adds a bunch of effects like reflections, normal mapping and more. https://sixtyfour.itch.io/flui

Yes you can, because it is impossible to remove a deleted post. Your anecdote is not true. Also, the user posted a comment complaining about the removal.

As another user has pointed out, it's both. The post was removed by moderators first, then the user deleted it some time after that. This information is only visible in the old design, not in the redesign.

> The post you are referring to was deleted by the user who made the post not the mods.... Not true. The post body says [removed]. If the user deleted it, it would say [deleted].

But you're not parsing the array 10000000 times in the first example. Use `eval`.

It's unbearable. Reddit's dev and design staff is not very competent. They probably have lots of virtues, being good at their job is not one of them.

Windows Update and Telemetry made me switch from a Windows 10 + VMWare setup to a Linux + KVM setup for my desktop. The new setup has its flaws, but it works much better than Windows overall. Windows Update is terrible.

There is one thing I want from my terminal multiplexer: working scroll functionality with Shift+PgUp/PgDn, even in split screens, just like in a plain console, without messing everything up. Is that possible?
