I think Netlify is great but to me it's overkill if you just have a static site. I understand that Netlify is much simpler to get started with and setting up an AWS account is somewhat more complex. If you have several sites, it's

I use S3+Cloudfront for static sites and Cloudflare workers if it needed. It's always crazy to me that people will run a could be static site on Netlify/Vercel/etc.

I want to like this product but it’s far too limited for me. I really wish someone would make something like this for my AC though because that’s the biggest energy draw by far (aside from the EV). A cost effective battery system for the AC

If you’re in Minneapolis I could recommend a few stores where that’d work.

Even if mostly the “right” people are laid off, laying off a wrong person can have a cascading effect. Good people like to stick together. Get rid of a couple and the rest will start to leave.

I'd also point out that there was a rather awkward situation with M1/M2 chips where lower end devices were getting newer chips before the higher end devices. For example, the 14 and 16-inch MacBooks Pro didn't get a M2 series

There are several data labeling products on the market such as Label Studio. I’ve resorted to building my own annotation apps.

Yes. LLMs are very much like a smart intern you hired with no real experience who is very eager to please you.

In my experience, LLMs are a lot better than my backend engineers who don't even try but not that much better than someone who's skimmed the docs. Typically they suggest 1) adding indexes and 2) refactoring the query. If you only

Absolutely this. Use other Census areal units if you can and ZCTAs only if you have to.

There are point process models, but, yes, its much more common to want to aggregate to a spatial area. Another consideration is what kind of reference information is available at different spatial units. There are plenty of Census Bureau da

It’s the same reason LLMs don’t perform well on tabular data. (They can do fine but usually not was well as other models) Performing feature engineering with LLMs and then storing the embeddings in a vector database also allows you to reuse

This resonates with my experience. Use LLMs for feature engineering, then use traditional ML for your inference models.

My point was that SCOTUS didn't review whether there was a compelling national security interest or not – they didn't review any of the classified material, etc. SCOTUS didn't consider whether or not it was good or meaningful

I think it is often the case that the justices' opinions are already established, based on their lines of questioning. In the way that Gorsuch wrote a separate concurrence, I expected Alito or Thomas to want to broadcast a particular m

Legally, the national security component is relatively minor to the case. It's played up to be the justification for the law but SCOTUS doesn't really get to decide whether that is good justification or even correct.

I'm no fan of textualism but I don't think it had much to do with this case. SCOTUS didn't have much to work with aside from level of scrutiny. They defer to Congress regarding national security.
