They are simplify avoiding using the word "committed" using a well accepted alternative because of the connotation with criminal behavior. But no they would say "died by homicide" not "died by murder".

I disagree that cruises are expensive. Cruises can be expensive but many cost roughly the same per night in a hotel but includes your food and entertainment. No, they're not as cheap as camping at your local campground or a staycatio

I haven't really worked with any large monorepos. I find your comment really interesting because having the capability to point to the HEAD (or realistically a commit SHA) is a feature I sometimes really enjoy about not using monorepos

Yes/no. I have a few passkeys in my vault but several are for different accounts with the same company (e.g. Amazon, Google). I expect adoption to continue but will take years.

Exactly. The greatest risk to the average person is their credentials are obtained through a leak and 2FA helps mitigate that impact. I know many people who still reuse passwords, which certainly have been leaked, and are probably protected
