Another advantage is speed. I did a proof-of-concept last week with MVP.css and it was so quickly put together that it was almost as convenient as from writing the content in a Google Doc (where I use borderless tables for the columns). Goo

Per the article, a ton of people find online grocery shopping confusing and this is driving away a TON of potential business. This is bad design.

> This is no different than being in an actual grocery store. On a phone, you've only got a couple inches to view at a time. It's TOTALLY different. If all you do as a designer is take things in store and literally transcribe t

I still think the design of these apps can be dramatically improved. I just fired up Instacart now for my local grocery store and searched for eggs. Featured was a dozen eggs for $4.59 (why featured?), and I'm not sure why that's

Weirdly enough, Spotify's goal is to scoop up all the money that's currently going directly to podcasters by making the advertising market more efficient. They want to enjoy the type of monopoly that Facebook/Google/Amaz

I think there's an extent where "clout" (depending on how you define that) makes sense. Let's take Joe Rogan as an example, ignoring for now that he's going to Spotify next year. I'd imagine that what happened

I favor splitting up tech companies (see my comment above). The one counter-argument I do find interesting, however, is that YouTube BECAUSE of their monopoly status is able to throw far more resources into this than others sites do. We do

I agree with this, except that the reason they receive so much criticism is because of their monopoly status. If you're trying to make money from digital video, getting banned or even demonetized from YouTube is a death sentence on you

Would a gimbal/stabilizer be helpful here? Or any other hardware solutions? Of course it wouldn't solve the problem, as you still have the other hand that has to touch buttons. I ask because I recall seeing a "smart" spo

What about panning the camera to the right when there just may happen to be a drug deal you didn't notice happening to the left? I'm not telling people what to do or not do. Only expressing my own fear!

Anybody else afraid to click some of the links in that post until you hear about legality of accessing (and controlling!) a DEA camera that's likely part of an active investigation?

Mostly the way it worked out is that a lot of advertising for blogs and other websites dried up and shifted to Facebook and Google. This isn't the whole story, certainly, but it's probably the biggest story of what happened. Whi

I think the clearest interpretation of "ideas don't matter" is that first-mover advantage is, at best, overrated relative to execution. Not that I endorse this. But I think it's a clearer way of saying it. The concern is

This is needlessly dismissive. Even red states like TX will likely be forced to allow more mail voting. KY and others will also be doing the same, expanding who can vote absentee in order to deal with a public health issue. Democrats think
