It looks like some journalists already have access. If folks see any takes on how this product compares to GPT4 on quality of responses, please share. Maybe there's an embargo? Because normally if reporters had access, they'd imme

Yeah, the article opens with Thiel but doesn't actually claim he did anything wrong. It then shifts to comments by David Sacks "who is a friend of Thiel" for hypocrisy in comments. Which, I think, might be fair to say of Sack

Seems like people were only skeptical of the specific dates given by an anonymous Blind user, just on the basis that it's an anonymous user. That's likely a good thing, even if it happened to be accurate! They weren't skeptic

Can we not pretend people weren't already googling sample emails for this? It's just more efficient now to grab the same starter email that you then customize. Admittedly, google shouldn't be pretending otherwise, either. But

Not sure what thread you're referring to. I suppose maybe some people did think this wouldn't happen? But Zuckerberg publicly announced he was doing this flattening over a month ago. (Though we didn't the numbers until now.)

I agree. But right now, it's so easy (and fun, I've done it myself) to spin up chatbots that there aren't enough folks doing the more difficult UI work for the various use cases, in my view.
