Author here. I don’t think ASCII is the right comparison. True, it would be really hard for anything to compete with Git because a lot of infrastructures we have are already deeply integrated with Git. But think about x86 vs. ARM and how AI

Would you rather do that because of the AGPL licensing? I ask because you don't have to donate or pay to use this tool unless you want to use the latest features earlier.

HTTP Prompt paid version isn't on GitHub either. It's hosted on a private server only available for paid users.

It's not new. One example I look up to is Sidekiq ( http://sidekiq.org ). It offers a paid subscription for its pro version.

Good question. But as for now, you have to parse the HTML to get form hidden fields and then send it manually. I don't know if HTTPie supports that. If HTTPie or any of its plugins supports it, I'll consider adding this feature.

HTTPie supports "field:=json" syntax. HTTP Prompt doesn't support it now, but it's on my roadmap.
