It's not easy to make a fundamental change to your outlook like that, well done. I think most of us have at least a bit of what you're describing of yourself pre-mid-50s, and could use a little more untangling of these fixed narra

People are so brainwashed into thinking that money is the only thing that matters that they get suspicious when others behave as if it isn't.

Agreed. My top concern with cryptocurrency is the huge waste of energy inherent to PoW. It's really, really good to see ETH pull this off. There are a pile of other problems in crypto, but it's fantastic to see this biggest (IMO)

I mean "crowded" is relative, but yeah I'd say we're crowding the planet. There's precious little wilderness left [1]. Livestock outweighs wild mammals by a factor of 10:1 [2]. The chicken is the most common bird, 1

This really highlights one of the big advantages for nuclear on this crowded planet. I wonder how it would look if you factor in land that has become unusable (to humans) by disasters like Chernobyl and Fukushima, amortized appropriately of

Do you think they actually have that in stock, and if they've ever fulfilled a 1kg order? I don't mean that facetiously, but I am skeptical that it's just a marketing stunt!

If 2 or 3 hits was lasting longer than 24h, there's a good chance it was something other than LSD (like DOM) or you have an idiosyncratic reaction. I've met a couple people who took 100+ hits at once and survived to tell the tale.
