But there’s no AI that can do your hobby either. If your hobby is painting… are you painting for those who are now paying Chatgpt for their painting needs? Have you been robbed of your hobby? No. The scenario is as imaginary as Dishwashgpt

Not quite what you’re asking for, but Discord is broadly the go-to for small private communities, imo. It’s not half bad at it either

Yeah, I’ve long felt his PR game outshines his interestingness and insightfulness. He gets quoted and referenced reverently by media often, but then you read his takes and they’re either eye-rolling hype or stifled-laughter obviousness.

That’s an awesome policy. Compare to car share services (in SF.. apples to apples) such as Gig Car and Getaround which allow unsupervised general access (i.e. no driver there to witness car treatment)… those are generally pigsties. Blunt

There’s a surprising amount of vocabulary difference across Czech and Slovak, in addition to the pronunciation differences you mention. Pre-split everyone on both sides grew up hearing bilingual broadcasts, so they picked up the differences

You ignore “the spirit of the law” with fancy acrobatics around “the letter of the law”… at your own peril. I can’t comment on the claims here, but if MSFT is skirting the intent brazenly enough, the predictable regulatory reaction is no bu

We’re decades into the pattern. I continue to be stunned that anyone is surprised by Chinese product anymore. Here’s a rule that will not serve you poorly for the indeterminate future: avoid it all costs whenever and wherever you can. It’s

This thread feels astroturfed, or at least like some overly enthusiastic friend-posting. Buncha low activity accounts posting marketing copy style testimonials. I’m not saying it was necessarily intentional manipulation, but it feels off fo

That's a strawman caricature of the argument. States that are driven by free market allocation rather than central planning (because there's no _pure_ model of either/or) are much less likely to initiate major wars of conques

You missed the requirement that it be better than comparably priced options. Hard to find a reason to buy this over other flagship Androids other than wanting to be more integrated with a Chinese software ecosystem.

This is absolutely the correct answer, all identity-based solutions are coarse and imprecise ways to solve a directly measurable problem (relative economic hardship). But the identity-based lever has proven too effective rhetorically and cr

The snap take came across as an argument about which of two names for the measure is better-known. The wikipedia page implies the opposite of that argument. Perhaps that’s changed since 1984, but the proposition was about current practices.
